Our story
My brothers and I have been fishing since we could walk. Now that they’re gone, fishing is one of the ways I still feel connected to them. Gulf Reaper has become another—a way to keep them with me as I build something of my own.
The idea started with a single shirt.
After leaving the Army, I loved the veteran shirts I saw everywhere. They had personality, pride, and bold designs that meant something to the people wearing them. But during a fishing outing on a work trip, I looked around at the fishing shirts and thought, “Why are these so boring?”
When I got home, I decided to make a shirt I’d actually want to wear fishing. Well, that idea got a little out of hand—and Gulf Reaper was born.
What started as a shirt for myself has grown into a brand rooted in a lifelong love of fishing, the memories of my brothers, and a desire to bring more character to the gear we wear on the water.
We’re just getting started, and I’m proud to share this with you.

Gulf Reaper Outfitters is a veteran-owned fishing apparel company based in Texas. We make gear for anglers who put in the hours—from early launches and long runs offshore to quiet banks, ponds, and freshwater fishing trips.
What we make
Our solar hoodies, long sleeves, and short sleeves combine UPF 50+ sun protection, fast-drying performance fabric, and original Gulf Reaper artwork dye-sublimated into the fabric. Our Saltwater lineup features the shark, kraken, and sea turtle. Our Freshwater lineup brings the bass, catfish, and alligator gar to the banks, ponds, and rivers.
